This site is dedicated to the memory of Shaun Cutter.

After a natural conception by Ian and Jenny Cutter, Shaun Liam Cutter was born in Cambridge on 6th June 2000, alongside his two brothers, Matthew and Jason. The trio are triplets, with Jason and Shaun also being twins. All three boys were happy and healthy, and very much loved by everyone. However, on 29th November 2000, things took a turn for the worst. The three boys were put down in separate cots for one of their daily naps, whilst Ian took the family dog, Lady, for a walk with the boys older sister, Samantha. Upon return, Ian and Samantha went to check on the three boys, only to find that Shaun had wriggled underneath his blanket and was unable to breathe. After calling the emergency services, Shaun was taken to Addenbrooke's Hospital in Cambridge where the worst was announced - Shaun had passed away through cot death.

The next few months for us were the most difficult times there could be, but with the support of the Lullaby Trust (formerly known as the F.S.I.D) we managed to get through it. That is why the Lullaby Trust means so much to us as a family - because they were there to support us and give us all the help we could ask for. This is why we are asking for you all to donate to the Lullaby Trust, so that they can provide the necessary support for other families that have been through this heartbreaking pain themselves.

It doesn't matter how much is donated, whether it be £1 or more, it will all help. For example,

£1 will allow the trust to provide a room thermometer to ensure a maintained, safe room temperature for new babies.
£14 will allow one hour of helpline support for families that need it.
£110 will provide training for A&E workers so they have the knowledge on how to handle this situation and provide comfort for the bereaved families.
£438 can alleviate the anxieties of a bereaved family by providing a breathing monitor for their new baby.
£550 will provide the training for bereaved parents who wish to support and comfort other families in future.

Please donate towards the Lullaby Trust, as you can see even the smallest amount will provide bereaving families. As a family, we thank you for helping us to help and support other families who have been through this horrid incident.

Shaun will always be in our memories, and will forever be loved by all.

'A daily thought, a silent tear, a constant wish, that you were here'
Rest in Peace, Shaun, forever in our hearts.
